Why am I doing this?

Processing...

The Internet is full of people that write about, well everything. Their sleep, their cats, their house, their routine, and so much more. And there is nothing wrong with that. Social media started out great for everyone that wanted to share in an even easies way. But it took a really bad turn once the need to earn more money took over and ads flooded the platforms. I never felt the urge to share more than an occasional statement and picture, so the continuous downfall of social media in general is sad but doesn’t concern me much. Why then start sharing now in this arguably retro way with a static web site?

The Internet has become a toxic place 1. It became like a back alley where you constantly have to look over your shoulder to make sure nobody is following you about to wack you over the head. One site might not do a lot to change the course but my site isn’t alone. There are many more out there that aren’t happy and do things another way. I want to help stir the Internet back on track to be a mostly awesome place instead of what it became lately. So there is no tracking cookie placed and no other metric collected when you visit this site.

Just stuff I wrote. Pictures I took. Thoughts I want to share.

Oh, and if you’re wondering all mistakes are my own. So no bot wrote any of these lines.
